Gone Too Soon

I know some of you who are probably sick and tired of the whole Michael Jackson death will say rather mean things about the man.

Well, he isn't much of a perfect human being, but he sure is the best artist of his time, even beyond. If you ask any singer or artist of our generation to name people who influenced the, 9 out of 10 times, Michael Jackson would be on their list. And I don't think I need to elaborate. (Or are you provoking me to do so?)

Nah.

You can do your own google search and see for yourselves. But I guess you can't really please everybody. In one of the many forums I visit, there was this lady who says "when did sales volume ever determine the capability of a singer?" --this lady was questioning how in the world Michael Jackson was named the greatest artist of all time.

Okay. So I will pretend that singers make albums for nothing. What on earth are they doing if not to share their talents via their albums? Duh? Only a powerful, multi-talented artist can sell over 100 million dollars worth of records.

And that is a sure sign of influence, the popularity that came with it is just a bonus. So, what do you call an artist who sells millions and millions of albums, what do you call an artist who create dance moves that will forever be imitated, what do you call an artist whose concerts are SOLD OUT almost all the freaking time? A hermit?

For all you Michael Jackson haters, give the man some respect. It is not for you to judge his wrongdoings, plastic surgery and what not. After all, it is none of your f---ing business.
