My Ideal Someone

I once saw her clearly

Through my imagination´s eyes

A tall marvel standing solemnly

Crimson hair glowing towards the skies

She smiled at me a little and looked away

Her demeanor dark, serious yet kind

A thin silhouette with much pride in display

And that natural beauty so hard to find

Just a glance at her told me

She is not the romantic type

For her, reason is all that can be

Emotions are the fool´s stripes

Simple is the way she lives her life

Small pleasures provide her joy

She doesn´t need drama to feel alive

Complexity can´t be faked and used as a toy

Although unreal, she enlightened my happiness

I found her presence mesmerizing, hard to resist

After seeing her I take comfort in my loneliness

Because I know she doesn´t and will never exist
