hi why is it that mpc star 3.0 + up till 4.0 windows dvd maker was working fine now there is a new update of 4.0 windows dvd maker keeps crashing with no help from windows....! so what as mpcstar got new that windows do,es not like .sorry but going back to verson 3.0 to 3.9 it was working all fine till i said yes to update....

Well, I kind of ended up with a headache after reading your first post, dude (you're obviously no friends with English language).

But anyway, since, you were trying to do a favor and warn everybody about a possible issue with the newest version of MPCStar and (Vista?), you actually omitted to post the most important piece of information:

DID IT OR DID IT NOT solve your problem through falling back to the previous version?

the new mpcstar 4.0 & 4.1, has a problem with its codacs that is used in the program . it conflicks with windows dvd maker and windows movie maker , it seems that window,s movie maker works with w,dvd maker for some reason. when you go to wins movie maker then TOOLS , OPTIONS, COMPATIBILITY you will see all available filter,s if you untick the box,s of mpcstar each one in turn you will find which one is the culprit.!
