I've been busy with my uni stuff. We've got a 3 week teaching block right now so we have lotsa stuff to write up. Like a journal - to make sure we're actually doing something while being attached in school. So I'll continue with that after this post.
I recently bought a Gateway comp. Seems like it's hard to get around here cos' everywhere I go, they say 'sold out'. Or maybe they just make it sound like they have a lot of buyers but when they only ordered 2 in stock. Or something like that. Manage to book myself that comp in a tiny shop no one bother going to cos' it's hard to find a parking there.

The computer package came with a free epson printer which I assume the cartridge will be expensive to get. But that's ok.. I needed to get a printer anyway. So this saved me a few $$ for the time being since I just need it for the duration of my Masters course.
Too bad it's wireless mouse and keyboard. I have had experience with the failure of batteries at such inconvenient time. Plus the mouse is heavy with batteries innit.
I had a conversation with my bf after I told him that I booked the comp and will be picking it up a few days later.
Him: So what you going to do with the net?
Me: What about the net?
Him: For your computer..
Me: ?............o SHIT

I have been laptop for so long I forgot computers have no wireless access and that I needed to buy something extra just to get internet on it. What's the point of getting a new comp if I dont have any Internet access! That's why I've got my laptop nxt to it now.
I also got a new Nokia phone. N97 <3 When I first got it, the guys were touching it more than I did. Lotsa new functions from a person who used a phone just to call and message before this. It hangs once in a while. Still getting used to the touch screen cos' my phones been calling people three times without my authorisation since I got it. No I don't want to lock my phone cos I couldnt figure out how to unlock and answer when someone calls me. Tis' a little annoying that I cant find out if I've got missed calls or received msgs cos' the notification light is very useless. I prefer the screen to just show a tiny icon on it so i can see there. Instead of staring at the phone button for a few seconds to wait for any light blinking.
Mmm.. I spent a bomb on these two things I even reached my spending limit on my credit card and atm card. I'm just going to go stingy for a while this month or a few months.
