How to Rip DVD on Mac OS X?

This tutorial will show you how to rip DVD to MP4, WMV, AVI, MPEG and other popular formats on Mac OS XI use iMovie DVD Ripper for Mac to introduce to you step by step.

Step1. Download and Install iMovie DVD Ripper for Mac

Step2. Select DVD drive or DVD folder to load DVD info.

Click "Add" button, to select a DVD (DVD folder, ISO file or IFO file whatever), After loading, more specific DVD info will be shown like titles and chapters, target form, and target file etc.

Step3. Set output folder, video/audio formats

If you need more than just one DVD to be ripped, you can achieve this by hitting the Profile drop-down list. There you can define output format both for audio and video.
Customize Settings
If you have a need to customize the DVD movie before the conversion, you can click “Edit’’ button to achieve your goal. Two sections are available under that button: Trim and Crop.

 

*        Trim section allows you to select the starting time and the ending time to choose your favorite duration.

*        Crop function enables you to cut off the unwanted parts of the video and set the aspect ratio to get exactly what you want.

Key function:

Merge into one file

If you want to make several files output as one, you can choose “Merge into one file” button, it is very simple.

After you choose the proper cropped file, click “OK” button to save your customization.

After every thing necessary was selected, you can click the Start button to start the conversion.

Few minutes later, you will get the ripped DVD files with high quality on your Mac OS.
