Cinema Bosses Offer 'Cloverfield' Warning

Jan 23, 2008, 12:00 AM [Reply]

HOLLYWOOD - Cinema bosses all over America are being forced to post signs about hit new film Cloverfield's edgy scenes--because the movie's camerawork is leaving patrons feeling sick.

The jittery horror film, which scored January's biggest ever opening last weekend, has left some film fans feeling nauseous, so theater staff has been advised to post warning signs about the film's tough-to-watch scenes.

The official warning reads: "Due to the filming method used for Cloverfield, guests viewing this film may experience side effects associated with motion sickness, similar to riding a rollercoaster."

The movie was shot to give viewers the feeling that they're watching a home movie about five New Yorkers attempting to escape from a giant monster.
