More casting on Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine solo project. This time it’s Danny Huston, Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, and will i. am joining the cast according to HR.

Kitsch we already knew about. Yesterday we told you about a rumor that had the Friday Night Lights star appearing in the film as Gambit, and it looks like that’s now been confirmed. It’s one of several major cameos in the movie, including Ryan Reynolds as another comic character called Deadpool.

Danny Huston on the other hand will be pulling much more than a cameo in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He’s playing Stryker, the character originally played by Brian Cox in X2, and the military general responsible for conducting the experiments on Wolverine which gave him his metal, adamantium skeleton. Cox is a bigger name, but Huston isn’t much of a step down when it comes to acting chops. He was last seen in 30 Days of Night, where he was successfully freakish as the head bad guy vampire.

Lynn Collins is another actress who has been rumored for a role in Wolverine, and now she’s confirmed to be playing Silverfox, Wolvy’s love interest. Will i. am is a musician, and a member of the Black Eyed Peas… so I have no idea what he’s doing in a movie. But this seems to be the thing to do lately, no movie is complete without a Black Eyed Peas member. His bandmate Taboo was recently, and inexplicably cast in Street Fighter. In Wolverine, will i. am will play a translucent powered mutant named Wraith.
