After all those troubles last Wednesday (23 June 2010), I was phoned the next morning for an interview on Friday. So there I was, preparing for my 'award winning speech' (LOL) for typical interview questions, such as "Tell me about yourself", "Why do you want to work for us?" and the likes. I was able to rehearse it after I got up around 3am (Friday), earlier than when my alarm clock was scheduled to set off, because I wasn't able to sleep well.
I came prepared this time, unlike when I had the exam and interview (conducted on the same day, see previous posts) for the water utility company. First up was the personality exam. I think I was able to speak out properly -- my preparation for a 'speech' paid out. Afterwards, I was accompanied to another room for the technical interview. Knowledge, experience and skills played an important factor this time. Questions asked included stuff on BJTs, FETs, Opamps, and my experience with some specific software.
Apparently, I passed the technical interview, and was later briefed about the contract. Then I was asked for a medical exam, since its a part of the requirements before contract signing. Finally, they said that our batch's training starts in August, so I still have plenty of time to learn a new programming language.
According to the contract briefing, professional secrecy is important for this job.
Thus, this will be my last post concerning the company that I'll soon be working for.

Finally, all those years in elementary, high school and college is starting to pay off. I hope I can put into real practice what I've learned from the academe.
God Bless everyone!
