Paramount still isn’t announcing when the next trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is coming, but before the end of the week you’ll be able to secure yourself a way to see it. The trailer is expected to make its way across the internet via widgets that can be posted on blogs, MySpace pages, and even websites like this one.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the widget for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be made available this week, although Paramount remains tight lipped about when the actual trailer will hit. We can probably expect that the widget will be used for more than just the trailer however. Paramount is utilizing similar marketing for movies like The Love Guru and Kung Fu Panda, which will filter down viral videos for Guru and a virtual fortune cookie for Panda.

Adding to the viral marketing craze, Paramount is giving incentive for fans to get the widget distributed from their website the most. The two fans who manage to have widgets from their pages strewn about the internet the most will win a trip to the fourth Indiana Jones movie’s world-premiere, and will even be streamed on the Skull widgets themselves, as red-carpet correspondents.
