Constructicons In Transformers 2?

Constructicons In Transformers 2? If it’s not under way already, Transformers 2 should be swinging into production soon. Since it’s a sequel, that’ll mean the addition of new characters, new plotlines, and new giant freakin robots. Tonight we’ve got word on just which new Transformers may show up in the next movie.

The rumor comes from IESB, where they claim Michael Bay is planning to bring a group of Transformers known as the Constructicons into the mix. For those of you who are relatively new to the whole TF thing, the Constructicons are a group of Decepticons who turn into construction equipment. But what makes them really unique is that they can also connect together to form one, really giant, mega-sized, super robot named Devastator.

The original Constructicons were: Scrapper, Scavenger, Mixmaster, Hook, Long Haul, and a bulldozer named Bonecrusher. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because Bay used it in the last movie on his robot scorpion. Unless Bonecrusher falls into a radioactive gravel pit or something in the sequel, odds are Bay will simply use different names for at least one of the Constructicons… assuming of course that this rumor pans out.
