For the last two years, Cinema Blend editor/movie reviewer and all around genius Lexi Feinberg has covered the Tribeca Film Festival. For all of you who aren’t industry insiders, Tribeca is a two week orgy of movies, media presentations, and general mayhem. It only make sense that we would be there hobnobbing with the stars and if all goes well, stealing their wallets.
While critics, movie buffs, and random New Yorkers tend to get caught up in the movie premieres, possibly the most exciting portion of the festival is the celebrity filled panels. This year is no different, and The Hollywood Reporter has uncovered some of the big names that will be participating.
The film festival has devoted an entire panel, entitled ‘Bringing Home The Bacon’, to actors making the transition to behind the camera. It will include Clerks star Rosario Dawson, hottie Eva Mendes, Julia Stiles(10 Things I Hate About You, Save The Last Dance), and Mary Stuart Masterson(‘Law and Order: SVU’).
Other notable panels will include ‘Cinema 2.0: My Myself and IPod’, ‘Real Horror Stories’, and ‘Spies Like Them.’ Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges will also discuss his blossoming film career and continued musical endeavors. Former New York Giants running back and fast-as-lightning stud Tiki Barber is also slated to make an appearance.
Cinema Blend music writer and future Legs McNeil, Brendan Butler, will also be contributing reports. To follow all of the future award winning coverage, click this exciting link
