It’s been online for weeks, but I finally saw that latest, long Transformers trailer we’ve all been geeking out about on the net, in a movie theater. Wow. It’s even better there, it’s so good, I nearly wept. If you’ve ever been any kind of a Transformers fan, or even if you just like giant robots (and who doesn’t), there’s no way you can see that in a movie theater and not want to see that movie.

This new TV spot from the film that I’m about to show you isn’t quite that good. But it does show a lot more of that Optimus Prime/Bonecrusher fight we’ve seen clips of in and out of trailers. Most impressive is an up-close transformation of Bonecrusher, that’ll make your eyes pop right out of your head. Whatever skepticism I might have had about whether or not this movie will really be a Transformers movie has evaporated, washed away by my insatiable desire to see trulty GIANT freakin robots beating the hell out of each other on screen. It’s beyond cool.
