· Step one: Download the program that they're giving away and select to run the file.
· Step two: Once the file you downloaded has verified the give away status and opens the installer, open your temporary files.
· In your temporary files, there should be a file by the name of wXXXX.tmp, where the x's represent random characters, copy that file to your desktop.(note, this must be done before you complete the installer. I recommend doing this before you even start the installation.)
· Provided that your system is set up to view hidden files and show known file extentions, you can now rename the file to "name of the program.exe." If your system is not configured correctly, you can do so by clicking start>run>explorer then going to tools>folder options> and then in the view tab, uncheck "hide extentions for known file types" and then check the option to "show hidden files and folders."
· Now you can use that installation package to install on all of your home computers, even if you don't have time to do it withing the 24 hour give away period ;)
