This past Friday was my 59th Birthday!
In 1988, I had 1 1/2 weeks to live tops according to my doctors. I had sarcoidosis in my spianl cord. I was dying over a three year period. Doctors would pass me on to another doctor, saying I was dying and they had no idea what was wrong with me. They tested me for everything in the book including AIDS.
Finally a lady doctor in a wheel chair, said let's do a spinal tap when they said I had a week and a half to live.
That evening I was lying in my bed and all of a sudden I was surrounded by light and the Light spoke to me and said, "Do you want to live or die". I said live and the Light said "then you shall live".
I saw my life from birth to that moment and awoke sitting on the edge of my bed. My doctors rushed in and said we found out what is wrong with you, you have sarcoidosis in your spinal fluid. They said that I will never walk again and be hospitalized for a long time. I was out of the hospital in 6 weeks and walking.
That was 20 years ago when I was 39!
