These are the terms that have been asked by many BitComet or other P2P users. I will update this in the future. Please give comments accordingly.
Seed: A downloaded file which is completed 100% and been kept uploaded over the internet through BitComet client.
"How do I seed?"
Keep the downloaded files to be uploaded, make sure BitComet running in the background, and don't stop the task after the file has been downloaded completely. It all actually runs automatically in the background.
Peer: When a person download a torrent through BitComet, some portion of it will be uploaded to the internet for others, who has been connected, will be able to download, even though the file is not completed yet.

"What's The diffference between seed and peer?"
seed = 100% file completed
peer = incomplete file
Leech: If a person completed a file, they will stop the task, move it, or back it up somewhere else to think they will need the bandwidth to download any other file.
"I must leech 'coz my bandwidth is very narrow."
Wether you like it or not you must upload. (See "peer"). This is P2P. If everyone's leeching then, who's gonna help you when you stuck at 99%?
Upload: Same meaning as seed/peer
Share Ratio: Any individual file uploaded divided by the file downloaded.
(Again. I'm so lazy so don't ask for fancy graphics).
e.g. uploaded = 584.35MB = 1.74 (yay!)
downloaded 334.05MB
"What is the ideal share ratio?"
Some people will set "2" or "1.5"
"How do I see my share ratio?"
In BitComet (menu)
View > Task List > Column > Share Ratio
"Can I increase my share ratio of a file?"
Just set the Global Max Upload Rate to "Unlimited" and it will run in the background. As long as there is a peer wants it, your share ratio will be upped.
Betul, betul, betul.
