Seth Rogan’s gonna tickle your funny bone cancer. And he will do it with better jokes than that.
Through Reuters, the folks at Mandate Pictures who brought us Juno announced today they’ve optioned I’m With Cancer, a spec script of a humorous autobiography. The omnipresent Rogen, whose latest comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno opens on Halloween, will produce and co-star. Get the full story from Reuters
The story is built around a 25-year-old who discovers that Will Reiser, a former producer of Da Ali G show, has cancer.
Evan Goldberg (co-writer with Rogen of Superbad and Pineapple Express) will co-produce. Rogen has two other films in post that drop next year, Monsters vs. Aliens and Observe and Report, and is currently filming Funny People while he simultaneously preps his next producing/starring effort, The Green Hornet.
In sharp contrast to his iconic slacker turns, Rogen plans to sleep sometime next decade.
