It's a story about a good friend of mine..
I have a friend, who used to do cyber crime such as
Carding, he knew it's a danger thing to do. But he just get along with it...Till someday about two months ago, he was disappear, and i didn't know what was wrong with him....I went to his blog (not at bitcomet) and leave him a messege.
Finally about a week ago, he called me and i found out that he's catched by the Police. The police took his computer and the PC screen as well, and just cut off his internet cable connection without his permission..
Apparently couple of months ago, he was helping his cyber friend by open a bank account on behalf of my friend..My friend did not know that this guy use the account for cyber crime..My friend just gave him the book of bank and the ATM. My friend get cheated because he did not know the real purpose of the bank account.
Then the police took my friend to the Police Head Quarter, and ask him so many question about the friend of my friend.. The police accused my friend helping his friend in Cyber crime. Cyber crime law in Indonesia starts to develop couple years ago since so many cyber crime happened in here, and no wonder if there are websites from outside Indonesia blocked IP from Indonesia..hehe
So here's the Bad Guy did:
He create fake website which sale laptops and many people from Europe, specially England buy from the website and get deceived, because after the money transferred to the account (which is on behalf of my friend) the laptop never received..
This Bad Guy take the money only from the ATM by asking someone else's and pay the man to do it..Many people do it for him. He just asking from someone outside to do it and waiting outside, he did not want the ATM camera get his picture.
This crime never known until someone from England complain about this to Indonesia (he did not come to Indonesia). This crime happened for 2 years, and the police looking for him since then but so hard to get him, until he make a bank account on behalf of my friend.
Maybe people from outside the Indonesia think they just loose about 600-650 euros is not such a BIG deal..(I don't know) anyway it took more than 600-650 euros to get here and make complain. It will be harder punishment if the man who complain about it come to Indonesia. But still, the Police do their best.
In cyber crime stuff, Indonesia get cooperation with Australia. So the expert in Cyber Crime came from Australia and investigated my friend. He have to proof that he was innocent, and just try to helped him without knowing the eral purpose. I wonder why he believed him so easily, and my friend told me, he trust this guy. Oh well...Whatever...
Anyway, my friend told me he was prisoner but outside the prison, until the bad guy get caught. He tried to trace his friend, but he can not found his friend..His house were empty, even his parents in law...This guy so neat in doing the crime.
I wanted to help him, just dunno what to do. So i tried to always get the updated about his case. He will get 6 years in prison if he can not proof that he was innocent.
The Police took my friend's cell phone too before, but they decided to give it back to him..In case to get the bad guy. The Police thinks, maybe he will try to contact my friend..And my friend really really lost contact with the cyber world. He also think he had enough become carding, because the Police finally found out his crime as well..
My friend tried so hard to save his own ass by looking for this guy. He tried so hard for everyone now know that he get caught, he did not want the bad guy know about it..
And yesterday, he called me and asked me to accompany him and helped him..He did that because finally he found the Bad guy trace and make appointment to meet him today, he played innocent as though the Police did not know about it. So last night we tested the small camera inside the pen, and small recording tool which he provided by his own money, make sure the battery are full charged and the tools works well. I remember crime movie when i think about it now..hehe.. He told me, he had to be dare for it, no matter what...I am so concern about him...
So today, i did wish him good luck when we were separate... About 7PM this night, he called and he said "I MADE IT".....The bad guy told him everything that he needs to give the information to the Police, he get his Picture as well...So tomorrow he will give the information which will proof that he was innocent and he can be free......
