I have seen that many people don't know how to get a gmail account so I'm writing here how to get one.
1. go to http://mail.google.com/mail/signup (copy-paste the link)
2. complete the form , finalize the creation, click the button on the lower part of the page.
3. a page showing features will be shown. Now click I'm ready - show me my account
4. there you have it, you own Gmail account.
