Introducion to score, ranking, title of BitComet registered user

  •  Calculation for Score
Score = Points from online time + Points from upload bytes
1. Being online can generate 2 points per hour but 20 points at most per day.
2. Keep uploading files via BitTorrent protocol can generate 1 point per 10MB but 100 points at most per day.
3. Downloading files via BitTorrent protocol doesn't affect Score. The same applies to HTTP and FTP protocol.
4. Score gets refresh in 24 hours.
  • Ranking
Ranking consists of comet  (16), moon  (4), star  (1).
For example: Ranking 5 equals to , Ranking 21 equals to .
  • Max Resources
Max Resources mean the number of connections to P2SP. The more connections to P2SP BitComet gets, the faster downloading could be. The number of connections here doesn't equal to the connections normally launched by BitComet. It only relates to newly designed P2SP system. We are speeding up the one who is willing to upload by involving this.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS FOR ANYWAY!!!!

I HAVE BEEN BEGGING BITCOMET TO GIVE ME BACK MY STATUS AND WHY WON'T THEY, WELL YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE... I THINK THEY ARE JUST BEING MEAN... I HAVE SHARED AND WORKED HARD TO FOR YEARS TO BECOME THE STATUS OF LT. COLONEL WHICH NOW I WOULD BE A TOP NOTCH COLONEL OR MORE BY NOW. THEY KEPT SENDING ME NOTICES TO UPGRADE TO A HIGHER VERSION AND WHEN I DID I WENT STRAIGHT FROM BEING A LT COLONEL GOING ON COLONEL TO A RECRUIT IN ON DAY I WAS AT # 19 WHEN I UPGRADED AND THAT IS THE ONLY THING THAT I DID TO LOOSE MY STATUS SO WHAT IS THE BOTHER ANYMORE... I ASK ALL OF YOU... DON'T GET ME WRONG COLONEL DEBSHA, I APPLAUD YOU AS I NO YOU WORKED VERY HARD FOR THAT STATUS.... BUT PEOPLE LIKE ME DON'T MATTER MUCH TO BITCOMET. NOW THEY HAVE MY PORT AS UNKNOWN WHEN EVERYONE KNOWS THAT IS WAS BLOCKED SINCED I UPGRADED. THEY WANT TO NO WHEN WAS MY REGISTRATION DATE, WHY WON'T THEY TELL ME??? I REGISTERED X2 ONCE WHEN I FIRSTT STARTED AND THEN AGAIN WHEN I UPGRADED... WHOMEVER GOT MY POINTS I HOPE YOU APPPECIATE JUST HOW HARD THAT YOU HAVE TO WORK TO BECOME A COLONEL.....

  • Hi darling, this sounds serious! I must say I upgraded to 1.09 two days ago and my score and ranking are still there - could there be some seriously bugged version out there??? I keep reading this from various members and I must say I am pissed off, even though it hasn't effected me yet!

    I do get the yellow light every time I log in, but two seconds later it goes back to green. Have you tried to run two different versions at the same time in different partitions? I normally do that because I don't trust new versions straight away until I am totally convinced.

I upgraded and lost my bitcomet score as well- too bad, as it was fun being a colonel- oh well, just like life- have to start from the bottom again! Prugsachat

Connection> port mapping

uncheck all box......

login again.....

this will fix ur ranks (works 4 me)
