Can anybody fix this problem?

When download starts in bitcomet my router reconnects and after short period (5-10mins) again it reconnects and this continues throughout the day... How to solve this problem?

I sometimes have the same problem but it is not ALWAYS when BitComet is running, it sometimes does it when I have alot of download activity. I think it may have to do with the way the connection is setup with the router. I often get I.P. conflicts as well.

I wish I had a better answer for you but all I can suggest is that you make sure that your network connection is properly configured. You may want to wright down your i.p address along with the default gateway and dns addresses that are connected using "obtain i.p. automaticlly" and manually input the addresses in the manual connection configuration. This should solidify the i.p. address and keep it from changing.

possible shastrycrs (cRs) you have too many max open conneections running in bitcomet .Some routers cant handle a great amount and basically shut down.

Try lowering your max open and see what happens.

jaysun1975 (Grand Dragon) sounds like your just doing too much and basically the routers doing the same thing .cut down or run at slower speeds and see what happens .

maybe your routers knacked as well.

Well, you just didn't describe if your bitcommet was always doing the same way as every time you try.

Look at your apps (basically):

First: You must pay attention about how much SEED and LEECH availability for the file at bittorent server which you choosen to download. More SEED and LEECH was always better...

Second: Once your apps start to download, look closely how much bps the seed and leech gives you. More value was always better...

Look at your network configurations (if 2 point above was positive) :

First: Patch your tcpip.sys at your o/s. You can get the file by link at my blog (Remember, don't patch your tcpip value more than 100. If you do, you'll send your invitation to any worms). By default, bitcommet always patch this tcpip.sys (Options - Advanced - TCP/IP Limit. Look at "New half-open limit" field). Do not exceed 100 value also.

Second: Router modem user? Then you should configure your router modem and make a port forwarding for TCP/UDP port listening. You can use a link at my blog to learn why and how to configure your router modem port forwarding, for your download speed.

Third: Buy a better connection.

did you actually read the post ?
point 1 and 2 a load of twaddle ,they are not on about speed they are talking about the router/modem crashing out ,and the speed could be a factor in the problem.
point 3 .patching the TCP/IP limit ,this is what im trying to establish from them if they have done this and set too high . setting to 100 hmm maybe ,some routers are fine with an open limit ie----6500000 or what ever , some will crash as they cant take it, as to bitcomet by default altering the max open limt in my case no it doesnt .I use my own and the client does not alter it unless you specify it to .
AS too port forwarding yes but they say theyve done that , but i would recomend portforwarding .com for them as it not only gives you the routers but it also shows you the how to,s for certain programs /clients and games.
so next time read the post and stop answering everythng with visit my blog to boost you stats up ,theres enough answers out there if people just look.

Well, [cRs] I'm truly sorry and apologize.
And [v1per], many thanks for everything you wrote.
I was quit for using bitcommet about 2 months ago since this torrent client app always doing some 'upload' activities when activated, even just a small scale. So I didn't expecting to boost my stats up by recommend anyone to visit my blog, and I don't care a bit about that. I just want to help but not like the one in the end.
Let me do these post mistakes twice. I am using a 256kbps broadband with very low price with low quality router modem. But since I patch my tcpip.sys and port forwarding implemented, they gave me 30% speed ups for download torrent files. The other bittorent client I used is uTorrent, each port values that describe in their listening TCP/UDP port config has port forwarding schemas at my router modem.

Try set your bitcomet to :

network.max_connections 100

network.max_connecting_connections 10

Apply than OK than restart your computer ant let me know the results
