HOLLYWOOD - Comedian Bill Maher is considering firing security officials on his TV talk show after a protester successfully interrupted a live broadcast.

Maher was forced to help security guards remove a member of the audience after he smuggled in a sign reading "9/11 is a cover-up fraud."

After spotting the placard, Maher yelled, "Do we have some security in this building or do I have to come down there and kick his ass?"

Maher says, "It's the only time I defend Bush. I'm thinking about firing my audience department."
