Trust/Betrayal

I waited for this to finish torrenting for 3 days and it was well worth it. This appeals to any action/romance/suspense fan. It also make you wonder wtf happened to kenshin during the television series lol.

This was the first movie I have ever watched that started off very tragic as kenshin is sold into slavery and the only people who cared about him was murdered. He is eventually saved by Seijuro Hiko who taught him the hitem mitsurugi style only to have kenshin run off from him. The story now takes place back in the tokugawa war with everyone running around in circles screaming (samurai warriors). He kills many people but a man who had a strong will 2 live wounded and left a curse on his cheek which bleed through the movie everytime kenshin emotions acted up. This movie was famous for making it rain blood....im serious. It wasn't as much fighting as i hoped but each scene carefully described the horrors of war and later on slowly blended into a romance that passed the tv version of rurouni kenshin. Kenshin the assassin soon falls in love with a young girl and trys to live a peaceful life only to be betrayed. No doubt you will cry watching this at least once this turned out to be one of the greatest ovas of all time.

I LOVED IT TOO. Its my favourite right after Samurai Champloo. Why is it so different from the tv series? (many people are mixing them up, though.. i was looking for this on the net quite a time, and many people said that Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal is just the english name for the tv series Rurouni Kenshin, which i really dont like as much as this kind of play.)

currently i'm DL rurouni kenshin and i'm thinking whether to watch the ova not and i still do not know whether i should or not but this review helps out a bit i think i'll give a shot but i just hope it don't make me feel sad for days or weeks or even a month because the last anime i watch did. really i don't think i can take on too much of sadistic endings
